Cole C. Parkinson
Cole Parkinson graduated from Utah State University with a B.A in Political Science, a Minor in Sociology, and an Area Studies Certificate in Law and Society. After completing his undergraduate degree, Cole received his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem Oregon. During his time at Willamette, Cole was an active member of the Moot Court Board and was the Vice-President of the Federalist Society. While studying law in the Salem area, Cole interned with the Office of Public Defense Services - Appellate Division (OPDS) and clerked at Tyler Smith & Associates.
Cole is admitted to practice law in both Utah and Oregon, bringing experience and a results-driven approach to his diverse legal practice. Cole has experience in complex business acquisitions, large commercial and residential real estate transactions, and related litigation, providing clients with practical solutions in stressful scenarios. His attention to detail and understanding of real estate law ensure that his clients’ investments are protected, whether they are buying, selling, or resolving disputes.
In the area of construction law, Cole has successfully represented both contractors and property owners in various disputes. His experience ranges from handling construction defect cases and contract disputes to navigating project delays and lien issues. Cole’s balanced approach allows him to advocate for clients on both sides of the table, giving him unique insight into the construction industry’s challenges and opportunities.
Beyond real estate and construction, Cole regularly advises businesses on a wide range of contract matters. From drafting and negotiating independent contractor agreements to structuring employment contracts and business agreements, Cole’s strategic guidance helps his clients minimize risks while achieving their goals. His broad understanding of contract law allows him to effectively safeguard his clients’ interests in both routine and highly specialized transactions.
In addition to his business and real estate practice, Cole offers estate planning services to individuals and families. On a personal note, Cole is a Cache Valley native that currently lives in Logan, Utah, with his wife, Randi. When he’s not practicing law, he enjoys spending time outdoors, whether backpacking, golfing, or hunting with his family.
